About the Artist
Roy studied at Hornsey College of Art and worked in London before moving to Cornwall.
Over the past forty years, during his lunch break, artist Roy Steadman recorded the comings and goings of Charlestown Harbour and the surrounding Clay villages in watercolour sketches. These sketches were often his starting point for larger oil paintings which have been exhibited in galleries for many years.
Roy retired a few years ago and has now released a collection of these sketches for sale.
Roy has given us the sketches to sell on his behalf and is donating his share of the profits to a charity of his choice. Framing is available, please contact us for details.
