Wheal Coates, original painting by Emma Ball
An original watercolour painting of Wheal Coates in Cornwall, by Emma Ball. Emma's original paintings are beautiful and often used as images for her homewares and calendars. Having an original is a real treat.
We've framed this painting in our workshop using a stylish coastal frame.

About the artist.
Emma Ball lives in Nottinghamshire, ideally placed as it’s so central for her trips- only three and a bit hours and she can be on Beer beach (or Wells next the sea!!), five and she's in Glasgow!!! She loves going places she's never been to and revisiting other places- especially the British coastline. At sixth form Emma was told by her tutor that she should drop watercolours, and that she had no colour sense! Emma graduated from Nottingham Trent University in the 90’s with a degree in Graphic design. Emma says, "Please don’t ask me how I paint and what techniques I use- I really couldn’t tell you as most of it happens- as most watercolourists will tell you 50% of it happens by accident!!!"
