Polruan, original painting by Emma Ball
An original watercolour painting of Polruan in Cornwall by Emma Ball. It's not often that we get original paintings by Emma as her work is so popular worldwide so we are very lucky to have several on display at the gallery.
We have framed this painting in our workshop using a stylish coastal style frame.
Mounted and framed.
Measurements, image 33 cm x 23 cm, frame 48 cm x 39 cm.
About the artist.
Emma Ball lives in Nottinghamshire, ideally placed as it’s so central for her trips- only three and a bit hours and she can be on Beer beach (or Wells next the sea!!), five and she's in Glasgow!!! She loves going places she's never been to and revisiting other places- especially the British coastline. At sixth form Emma was told by her tutor that she should drop watercolours, and that she had no colour sense! Emma graduated from Nottingham Trent University in the 90’s with a degree in Graphic design. Emma says, "Please don’t ask me how I paint and what techniques I use- I really couldn’t tell you as most of it happens- as most watercolourists will tell you 50% of it happens by accident!!!"
