The quirky raku Stonesplitter clocks are made at the craft pottery studio of Ian Roberts in the Midlands.
There is a small mouse on each clock and each clock is glazed and fired using the Raku process. Raku involves the process of removing the clocks from the firing kiln whist still hot, giving the unique texture to the coloured glaze and adding the crackle glaze effect.
There is a slight `tick` from the battery powered clock, or is it the sound of the little mouse tapping its feet?
